Heating heavy fuel oil to separator and injection viscosity, against steam or thermal oil.

Injection temperature for heavy fuel sits near the limit of most gasket compounds, and the heating medium is steam or thermal oil. That pushes the hot end toward semi-welded construction, with the heating medium on the welded side. Lower-temperature separator preheating can stay fully gasketed on a heat-resistant compound.
